Birmingham Gold Cup Lunch 2025

Our Birmingham Gold Cup Lunch once again took place in the Banqueting Suite at one of the country’s most famous and iconic cricket grounds, Edgbaston. Cheltenham Gold Cup Friday showcased the sport at its absolute best, attracting some of the finest National Hunt horses in the world to compete over the hallowed turf at Prestbury Park.

On what proved to be another thrilling day, we were delighted to welcome as our very special guest one of English football’s finest goalkeepers of recent years, former England, Liverpool, Aston Villa, West Ham, and Man City star, David James. Our event also featured a fantastic comedy set from award-winning TV comedian Lindsey Santoro, whose effusive brand of comedy is soon to be showcased on ‘Live at the Apollo’.

With live music from our Irish band, a superb three-course lunch, the full Cheltenham card displayed on our giant screen, our in-house bookmaker, and a racing tipster service, the Birmingham Gold Cup Lunch was a resounding success, delivering an unforgettable day of sport, entertainment, and hospitality. From engaging guest speakers and top-tier comedy to the electric atmosphere of Cheltenham Gold Cup Friday, this event once again proved to be a highlight on the sporting calendar.
