A British sporting institution, the Grand National attracts over 150,000 racegoers for three days like no other, which includes Grand Opening Day, Ladies Day and of course Grand National Day. ​The 2025 Grand National was won by 33/1 outsider Nick Rockett, trained by Willie Mullins and ridden by his son, amateur jockey Patrick Mullins. Nick Rockett surged ahead at the final fence to defeat last year’s winner, I Am Maximus, by two and a half lengths, securing a remarkable 1-2-3 finish for the Mullins stable .​

  • Can I specify catering arrangements for guests?

    The events team will send out a reminder email six weeks prior to the event, which includes a request for dietary requirements.

  • What's the dress code for Grand National hospitality?

    Although there is no official dress code, smart is preferable and is often adopted. Hats are optional too, but are frequently worn. Sports clothes and fancy dresses are not permitted for the Grand National meeting.

  • How do I get to Aintree by car?

    Aintree Racecourse is located on the A59, just one mile from the M57 and M58, which link the M62 and M6. Follow the A59 to Liverpool and the yellow/tourism signs as you approach the racecourse for routes to the car parks.

  • How do I get to Aintree by rail?

    The easiest way to reach Aintree is by train with Merseyrail. Aintree Station is directly opposite the racecourse, where regular trains run every 15 minutes on race days (more frequently during The Randox Grand National Festival).

  • How will I receive my Aintree Grand National hospitality tickets?

    All tickets for the Grand National will be sent via email. This includes tickets for restaurant and hospitality bookings. You will receive your ticket(s) two weeks before the fixture you are due to attend.

  • Is the package price per person or per table?

    In general, prices are shown on a per person basis. However, some private tables have a minimum number of people.

  • Do the prices quoted include VAT?

    Please note that the prices quoted are per person and are subject to UK VAT, which is currently charged at 20%. VAT is added to the price within the booking section of the website.
