Gala Events – one of the UK’s leading corporate hospitality businesses – are pleased to welcome business guru Paul Faulkner on board as an Ambassador.
The vastly experienced strategist will aid our growth as a company as we aim to improve and expand our range of captivating events and unrivalled hospitality.
The Birmingham-based business generalist has led a significant number of organisations across a vast range of sectors including banking, recruitment, football and charity. Having held the role of chief executive at Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest respectively, Paul stepped out of elite football to lead the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce before moving on to a senior role with the Richardson family business and then a bespoke project with the Kids’ Village Charity.
Our own official charity partner Cure Leukaemia, Sport Birmingham, the Lord Mayor of Birmingham’s Charity, Birmingham Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Magnet Capital are just a snapshot of other organisations who have utilised Paul’s expertise in various different roles.
Educated at the University of Cambridge, Paul received an honorary doctorate from Birmingham City University in 2022 in recognition of ‘outstanding achievements in the West Midlands’. In 2024, Paul co-established Element45, a business advisory that specialises in leadership, strategy and performance.
